Question:   Are the UWP and 800 Wireless Systems compatible?
Answer:   No they are not.
They use different compander (Compressor/Expander) circuits and they have different tone squelch frequencies.
 
Question:   Does the WRT8P have Phantom Power / +48V?
Answer:   Yes. This is an added feature that was not present on the WRT808
 
Question:   I heard that the WRT8P will have higher trasmission output power. Is that true?
Answer:   The WRT8P has a selectable power output of 50 mW (same as the WRT808) AND 250mW for more demanding situations
 
Question:   What is the battery life of the WRT8P?
Answer:   The WRT8P uses a 9V battery. Battery life is 4 hours at 50 mW power output and 2.5 hours at 250 mW.
 
Question:   Do the WRR series receivers receive a low battery alarm from the transmitters?
Answer:   With the exception of the WRR855A or WRR855B, the WRR receivers DO receive low battery alarms
 
Question:   What are the differences between the MB806A & MBX6 tuner base units?
Answer:   The MB806A has a single global mic / line switch for all the outputs
The MBX6 has selectable mic / line switch on each output.

The MBX6 has a screw on front bezel making removing and adding of modules much simpler

The MB806A has powered antenna outputs only
The MBX6 is switchable antenna power output for use with non-Sony active antennas
 
Question:   Can the MBX6 be used in conjunction with the MB806A?
Answer:   They can't really be 'daisey chained' together.
They CAN be used in the same rack/system together with no issues.
In addition, you can mix and match WRU806A or B receivers as well as UWP X series receivers in the same unit for both the MBX6 and MB806A.
 
Question:   What is the difference between the ECM673 & ECM674?
Answer:   The ECM673 is a shorter length microphone designed for smaller camcorders like the HVRA1U.
The ECM673 is Phantom Power Only whereas the ECM674 is Phantom or Battery Powered.
 
Question:   Will the ECM322 be replacing the other head worn microphones?
Answer:   No. The ECM322 is not a vocal mic. It was designed for AV Presentations.
